Killed in Action 31st July 1917. Son of Elizabeth Waterman of Edinburgh Villas, Barming Heath, Maidstone.
Buried in Grave VIII. C. 15, Duhallow A.D.S. Cemetery. Commemorated on Barming War Memorial.

Started work aged 22 years at Barming Asylum as an attendant (Nurse) on 1st June 1906. Previously working as a gardener. He joined the Wesh Guards 1st November 1916.
He was a widower with one child and his Mother as dependants. His Sister, Mrs Jury, lived at 3, Heathview Terrace Barming Heath.
